My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Lad
Breed: Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Male

Lad is a young adult male Border Collie/Australian Shepherd who was surrendered to a high kill animal shelter and was absolutely terrified--- he froze in the middle of his concrete run, eyes huge, and shook like a leaf for 4 days until his time was up. Last day save by a volunteer, and this guy is now grinning from ear to ear to be out of the pound. That's an experience he never wants to repeat. Lad is people and dog friendly, cats unknown, and seeking an active home with a yard for him to play in. He likes walks, likes to be petted, does well meeting new people, and thrives on security after his experience... so we need to make sure his next home is a forever one. House training is unknown right now, he crates for the workday, and we will learn more as he settles into a temp foster. Please consider Lad, and giving him a forever home.

Requirements: Home with outside space for him

You can email kladams4545@gmail.com with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.
