Jameson's Story...
Jameson is a very loving boy who has only spent a few days in his foster home. His foster famiy says he seems to have been a dog who spent most of his life alone in somebody's back yard. He is so happy to be invited inside to be part of a family! Jameson is a dog that is learning a whole new wonderful way of life. He is grateful for everything he is offered, and still seems so surprised and delighted by any kindness shown to him. Jameson walks beautifully on a leash, without pulling at all. He sleeps all night in his foster's bedroom without making a peep. He is housebroken and crate trained, and gets along fine with the other large dogs in residence. Jameson's foster family believes that this is the first time anybody has shown him any love and affection. They are looking for an adopter who will enjoy showing Jameson that his life is just going to get better and better. If you are the adopter who will shower this boy with love, please fill out an application and ask to meet sweet Jameson.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jameson, a Houston German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
