Meet Katie!
Katie is a very cute little puppy of about 5 months! Katie came to us from a owner surrender. Katie was bought off of Craig's list and had a huge hernia that her new owner could not take care of, her owner admitted that she was unprepared for a new puppy with health issues.
Katie had to wait three months to gain enough weight to remove the hernia. Katie was recently spayed and the hernia was removed ! She is now an active, healthy puppy who loves to play, play, play!
Katie is very "clingy" to her foster family members! Katie was removed from her mother at a young age - probably 4 weeks old and as a result has some separation anxiety causing the clingy behavior.
Katie would do well with another young and playful dog or cat.
Katie would be good with a single person, couple or family. Kids would be ok! Safely over the age of 8 years please and with a small dog understanding!
Katie is up to date with her vaccines and has been spayed. SHe is to young for heartworm preventative but will be on it at 8 months
