Scooter is 60 pounds of unadulterated love bug! This two year old goofball is great with other dogs. He currently lives in foster care with a large, cranky male, a tiny old lady dog, and dogs of all sizes in between. He is a very patient puppy babysitter as well. He also lives with cats and has been a total gentleman. Scooter Boy is crate trained but is not destructive outside of the crate. Scooter Boy loves to play but he also appreciates his quality time lounging with the people. His foster mom thinks he is the best living body pillow around! He is great in the car, meets new people with enthusiasm, and will make a great partner for any adventure. Scooter has been in foster care for a while now and this gorgeous boy is totally ready for his new home. He also would like a bed of his own because that clothes hamper is a little small!
This dog is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
