Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Sophie. I am a 4 year old tricolor cocker spaniel girl. I am looking for a new forever home and someone to love me for the special girl that I am. My owners moved out of their house and left without me. The neighbors must have heard me barking and alerted animal control that I had been abandoned in an empty house for about 2 weeks. The shelter posted notices but no one did anything to help me. CCR was contacted and transport was arranged to bring me into rescue.
At my vet visit, they found that I was a bit on the thin side, I had a raging eye infection, dry eye and a cherry eye that needed to be fixed. I also needed to have a dental and I was filthy dirty so I had a major bath cleaning. Luckily, I came in heartworm negative, but they did find that I had two mammary tumors which have now been removed with biopsy pending. I am now spayed and my cherry eye has been fixed. I am a sweet girl, I ride well in the car and overall I seem to be a good girl who just wants attention and love. After I have my cherry eye fixed, I am a sweet little lady who will need someone willing to buy me special eye drops to keep my dry eye condition under control. These folks don't know for sure how I am with kids, so they suggest a home with children 8 to 10 years or older. If you are interested in adopting me, I would love to have a 2nd chance to find my new forever home.
If you are interested in this sweet cocker girl, please send an email message to: larrydonnacarp@aol.com for an adoption application. Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all of the vetting care and needs for this dog while in rescue.
