Hi there, my name is Izzy. Most people think I’m a girl because of my name, but I’m actually a boy named after a guitarist from Guns ‘n Roses. I’m a Russian blue mix, and am I ever handsome! I have dark gray stripes that are very noticeable on my tail, and in the right light, I have light gray pinstripes on my body!
I was one of a litter of 5, and I love my brothers very much. One especially, his name is Steven. We’re hoping to be adopted together since we’re best buddies. We love to play together, especially in tunnels. Wherever we end up, I really hope there is at least one tunnel, preferably a few!
I have the cutest chirp, and don’t mind letting my foster parents know when I want attention. Or playtime, which generally involves playing fetch until I’m all tuckered out. I also love to knead and nurse on a fuzzy blanket with Steven. I don’t know that I’ll ever grow out of that habit, it just feels so safe and secure! I love head scratches, back scratches and belly scratches. Come to think of it, I really like any type of pets. I’m not too into being held, but I do like to snuggle up on a pillow or blanket in my foster mom’s lap at night!
I think that Steven and I will make great companions in a household where cats are given free reign to explore and observe. I’m definitely a cat’s cat. The more the merrier, I say! If you already have a cat, I’m sure we’d become best friends in no time. I’m just likable like that, I guess. I think that we'd prefer to be in a home without small children though. Steven and I don't like a lot of sudden movements or to be picked up when we're not ready.
