My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Ollie!

Please read my entire biography for all the information the rescuers have about me and how to adopt:

Looking for a hero dog in your life? Look no more. Ollie is the epitome of the "Can Do and Never Give Up" spirit!

This incredible dog survived on the streets with a broken back for months. People in the neighborhood where he dragged his hind legs said it had happened months before we found him. Apparently, he was hit by a car and the impact broke his back.

We had to help this dog who was doing so much to help himself. Our medical foster worked with him for months and little by little he became stronger and healthier. He does very well on a daily basis but would do best in a one story home. Ollie loves to play and a dog buddy would be a perfect match.

Ollie is a love and deserves so much more. If you have a place in your heart for this special dog, Ollie is that special dog. He is gentle and loving and will make a great family member.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
