Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I told my kennel person my neck hurt, so she decided I could retire. An SA GREYS person picked me up this morning and gave me a ride to Briarcrest Veterinary Care Center. I was the only dog, but there was a tiger riding with me. I'd never seen a tiger before.
The tiger said his name was Tony and he had just retired too. He was the famous "cat tester" that the SA GREYS ladies always brought with them to TGP when they were meeting new greyhounds. He gets to retire and be a pet toy now, because there aren't going to be any more greyhounds at TGP who need cat tests.
I asked him if he'd like to be my toy, and he said, "YES!" We played the rest of the way to the vet. I LOVE how he makes funny noises when I squeeze him. I had no idea tigers squeaked!
I'm waiting to see my doctor now. I suspect he'll tell me my neck is fine. (Wink, wink) Tony is bored so he's pretending to be one of spots. Goofy tiger.
Once I've had my examination, we'll find out if I get to move to the boarding facility or maybe even a foster home. We're SO excited!
Cheerio, (my name)
His small dog and cat status is not yet known.
