Van Bellamy's Story...
Van Bellamy is just a pup at 5 months. He is learning quickly how to get along and be part of a family. He craves affection from people and his foster brothers and sisters, big and small. He is crate trained and holds his potty all night. He has figured out a dog door quickly and already associates it with going outside to potty...in a matter of days. He is learning sit and wait and not to jump up. He might be too exerberant for toddlers but would be ok with young children. He is now ready for his FORever home! He is has been neutered microchipped, dewormed, up to date vaccines and has been examined by a vet. For more info email info@forrescue.net or fill out an application at www.forrescue.net/dog-application Van Bellamy is being fostered in Hazel Green Al

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Van Bellamy, a Chattanooga Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
