About Beau
Beau is a beautiful blue point Siamese mix who came to AARF from a hoarding situation after the caretaker died. He is very cat friendly and loves to play with other cats as well as chase any toys that moves. He is still learning to trust people and will let you pet him when he is distracted eating or playing. He would like to be adopted by a patient loving person with another cat for him to play with, ideally a cat he is familiar with from AARF. He is neutered, current on vaccines and FIV/FELV negative. Contact us for more information on Beau

You can meet and visit with many of our cats at the AARF House (311 Harvey St, Winston Salem) during our adoption fair hours. Go to www.aarfanimals.org for information about our adoption fair hours and adoption process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beau, a Winston-Salem Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Winston-Salem, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Winston-Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winston-Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winston-Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winston-Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
