Here's what the humans have to say about me:
wakes up happy every single day. Now that he is out of Animal Control, Bert is having a grand ol' time entertaining himself with his toys and splashing around in his baby pool. Still a young pup at 1.5 years, Bert can be bit of a harmless mischief maker so he would flourish in a home with an active family that enjoys walks and hikes or a canine companion that likes to play. Though our 15lb. Shih Tzu mix is good with people of all ages, he can get a bit overwhelmed in new situations so he will need a family that is willing to give him a day or two to acclimate to his new home. Our little character is seemingly housebroken and actually barks at the door to go outside but he will need a transition period to perfect his housebreaking skills. Bert is crate trained and does well on a leash. He is also neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped.
