Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Look deep into my eyes....look very closely....what do you see? YEP! I'm blind. Don't feel sorry for me tho because I do just fine. I'm a big boy with a big personality. My foster mom will tell you that I adapt well and get around her house with no problems. I like to be in the yard to explore and sit at the fence and "watch" the world go by. A fence is a must so I have a barrier to keep me safe and can't mistakenly wander off. I'm learning to walk on a leash, but can be hesitant at first until I feel I comfortable to trust you. We are also working on potty training. Being in a crate is not a favorite of mine and I bark and try to open the door by myself. At my foster mom's there are other 4 legged dogs that I can play with and I enjoy that, so a brother or sister of my own would be nice. I have a constant smile on my face, my tail is always wagging and I like everyone I meet. If I sound like the boy for you, please fill out an application. Shane is 5 years old, and 28 pounds. Shane is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, microchiped, de-wormed, and neutered. Shane’s adoption fee is $300.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. For events calendar and adoption application please go to our website at aaprescue.org
