Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet girl was found by the Sheriff's dept. during the freezing cold. She was thin and scared so they immediately contacted rescue to take her in. She was so happy to have a warm safe place to go. She was heartworm positive but has since been treated and is so very sweet. She is a small girl at about 22 pounds. She is very quiet and mild mannered. She is content to lay on the couch or in her dog bed most of the day. The vet estimates she is about 2-3 years old. She is still having some teetee accidents in the house. I imagine she has never been inside of a house until she came into rescue. She gets along with other dogs and cats and is just a sweet low maintenance kind of lady. She will make a great addition to any home.
This pup has received at least 2 sets of Distemper/Parvo vaccines, 1 Bordetella vaccine. It has been wormed at least twice and has been spayed/neutered. It is currently on Flea/tick prevention and Heartworm prevention. If the pup is over 6 months of age it has also been tested for Heartworms. If the pup tested positive for heartworms, we treat them before they leave for their forever homes. Please email Jennifer at jenniferjmcbride@aol.com for an adoption application or if you have questions about this pup. This pup’s adoption fee is $400 which covers all the vetting mentioned above plus the extra vet visit and Interstate Health Certificate required for the pup to travel and the transport fee charged by the transport company that will transport this adopted pup from the South to his/her forever home in the North. We use a few different transport companies to help accommodate our adopters.
