This handsome boy has long buff fur and a great purr motor! He enjoys playing with wand toys and toy mice, and loves to earn treats for being a good boy. Wonder is a big snuggler, too. He loves to cozy up on a lap and be scratched under his chin and ears.
Wonder may sound like a typical kitten so far, but he is not. Wonder came to us with one eye so severely damaged from infection and the other not fully developed, and he needed immediate surgery to remove both eyes. Since his surgery, he has learned to navigate new places using sound, smell, and his whiskers. He is a quick learner with a good memory, and can easily find his food, water, litter box, bed, and (most importantly) his favorite toys. Because he cannot see people coming, he needs you to talk to him before you pet him so he does not get startled. He loves people, and gets along with other cats, as long as they do not pounce him or sneak up on him. He does not seek out attention, but enjoys it when he gets it. When he is surprised, he will hiss and swat. He needs a family who will be patient with his disability and who will be sure not to startle him, so he would probably not do well with small children. Because Wonder is blind, a home visit to his future home will be required before the adoption can be completed.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with rescue paid registration.
