Hey! I'm Rugby! When I first came to the Muskingum County Dog Warden & Adoption Center I was pretty miserable because no one had cared for me for quite awhile. I am still a little underweight and do have some skin allergies, but after visiting the vet and getting some medicine, I am feeling so much better! The volunteer who took me to see the vet brags about how well I did in the car and in the office...I hope she knows how much that trip meant to me! I am a bit of a puller on walks especially if there is another dog nearby, but I get along fine with the dogs on the other side of my indoor/outdoor kennel. Adoption fee is $105 which includes spay/neuter, combo and rabies shots, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm test and dog tags. (Although some of the dogs come to the pound spayed or neutered, most do not. If you adopt a dog that has not yet been spayed/neutered, we will set up an appointment for the dog to be spayed/neutered before it can leave the facility.)
