My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Laddie is an awesome, laid-back cat who combines the best characteristics of a dog (he follows his people around everywhere) and a cat (he acts like a kitten with his endless curiosity and desire to play).

Laddie is not only unique because of his personality but also because of his history. He arrived at a WV shelter with a previously broken leg that was already healing in place; after rescuing him, his leg was re-x-rayed and our vet confirmed that the leg was well on its way to healing without intervention. After 8 more weeks of recuperation, our vet re-examined him and determined that he was perfectly fine keeping the leg as-is -- no surgery needed! He is in no pain and should need no further treatment down the road.

It's pretty clear that Laddie doesn't let his leg stop him one bit -- he wrestles with the other cats in his foster home, climbs cat trees like a champ, bats toys around -- even with his injured leg -- and has no issue getting on and off furniture. This cat is really one of a kind with so much personality! He's affectionate and friendly, entertaining his foster mom with his adorable sleeping positions and desire to be involved in everything going on.

Laddie does love to play with other cats so would be happiest in a home with another feline friend who will wrestle with him. We think he would also do great with dogs. He is approximately 2 - 3 years old.
