Totoro's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Totoro's Story...
Totoro is a 10-year-old Male red Shiba Inu! His original dad gave him to a family member when he got married a few years ago because his wife didn’t like dogs; he’s been happy in this home until his new mom got sick. Fortunately DCSIR was contacted to find the right home for this very sweet senior! Totoro lived with cats and with kids and did great with all! He is a little bit overweight, at 43 lbs, and his fur is very dry; fortunately, DCSIR has a great regimen for solving both of those issues!
Totoro is very sweet and loves to be cuddled. He is very gentle with other dogs and people, and he will even bring you a toy! He would make a terrific addition to any home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Totoro, a Manassas Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu for sale in Manassas, or seeking a Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Manassas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manassas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manassas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu breeders who help with Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manassas paves the way for another one to be saved.
