Samson's Story...
Welcome Samson and Delilah. They are beautiful Shar Pei/Border Collie mixes. They are about 65 pounds and they are short and stocky. We think it may be mother and son. She may be 3 and he is 1. They are bonded so we would like them to be adopted together. They do entertain themselves so if you had a nice fenced yard they could go out and exercise themselves. They would love to be a part of a family and included in all their activities. They are friendly with all dogs and people we have seen them with so far. They don't jump up and seem to already know to keep all fours on the ground. They will sit for a treat. They were found on the streets of South Texas and we will be using a transporter to deliver them to their new home. They can be delivered all along the East Coast. . They are heartworm negative, spayed/neutered, microchipped, Rabies vaccine and come with valid health Certs. Contact me for an application.

Act quickly to adopt Samson. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samson, a Pluckemin Shar Pei/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei/Cattle Dog for sale in Pluckemin, or seeking a Shar Pei/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Pluckemin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pluckemin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pluckemin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Shar Pei/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pluckemin paves the way for another one to be saved.
