8/9/08:

Snowball is ready to come north and find her forever home! We can't do that and save her unless we can find a good foster home for her- please help so she doesn't go back to the shelter. Below is the latest update from her foster mom. Snowball currently lives peacefully with another dog, two cats and a 13 year old girl

Snowball is a totally different dog now that her treatment is finished. She is filling out nicely. She eats like a horse, she is playful and energetic and
just a happy, sweet girl. She recently discovered the joy of belly rubs and asks for them frequently! : )
She is coming along well with commands. She knows "sit" and"wait" and "no". She crates immediately whenever I ask her to. She is even learning to leave the cats alone. She always goes potty outside.

7/03/08: Snowball (now called "Juneau" by her foster family) just received her last heartworm treatment this week. A few weeks ago, she developed a bacterial infection and consequently had lost quite a bit of weight. However, we are happy to report that she finally has found a food she will eat and is on her way to becoming a healthy pup.

All our dogs are in our partner shelter in the South unless otherwise marked.
