Meet Georgia! Georgia is a 7 lb, 7 year old Shuh Tzu. Georgia is a very sweet and loving girl. Her favorite thing to do is to snuggle up with you. She is the best little cuddle bug ever and will let you carry her around like a baby. Georgia has been through a lot in her little life and has been severely abused. When she came to me she had huge scars with missing hair. With good nutrition and treatments of oils the hair has grown back. Her snout is crooked and she is missing a lot of teeth. the teeth that are still there are worn down. This doesn't stop her from gobbling up the food in the bowls but she does struggle with some treats. She does have some issues still. She will need an experienced groomer as she nips during grooming. It doesn't break the skin as her few teeth share not sharp. And getting a harness on her is not easy. We are working on it. I can get the velcro ones on her but I have to go slow and comfort her the whole time. She loves going everywhere with me but she would preferred to be carried rather than walk. When I try to take her on walks she grabs a hold of my leg wanting up. She would do great in a home with a yard. She's a very low maintenance dog because she doesn't need to go on walks nor does she like the dog park. She sleeps on my bed on her back with her belly exposed. She does not do well in a crate as they scare her. She doesn't need to be in a crate as she is fully doggy door trained. She does good with other dogs but will growl at them if they are in her space. She lives with kittens in my home and tries to trap them under her body she does not hurt them but they do not like it. Whoever had this little girl before she came in to rescue really did a number on her but her spirit is strong and her love shines through.
