Ramsey's Story...
This beautiful boy is Ramsey.

An energetic, playful and super articulate 9 month old cattle dog mix who came to us from the Stockton shelter. He’s fluent in English / Spanish and knows a few commands in both languages. Ramsey will thrive in an active, single women home with a dog savvy person who can get him out daily and keep his mind working. His favorite activities include running with his person, playing fetch and learning new tasks. His ideal home would be with a single female in a quiet area. He is very fearful of men and requires a slow, proper introduction when meeting new dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ramsey, a South San Francisco Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in South San Francisco, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in South San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
