Dixie's Story...
Dixie was found alone wandering the streets of Elizabeth, NJ. Animal control picked her up and held her but no one ever came looking for sweet Dixie. She was waiting on death row when we were called to step in and pull her to safety. Dixie was overjoyed to be back in loving caring arms! Her history is a mystery so we can only tell you about her present and presently she is an absolute joy to be around. She is bouncy and affectionate, social with other dogs, great with all people and quickly learning. She knows sit, is crate trained, housebroken, and loves to play with a toy. She is fully vetted and ready for adoption. Dixie is loving foster life but she is really looking forward to finding her Furever family. She can't wait to be your best friend!

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Hatfield, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Hatfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hatfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hatfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
