Copper's Story...
Copper is a great size, small, adorable docked tail, happy and loves everyone. He was nervous when he first got adopted and his former home 's dog did not like him and they had spats, so they brought copper back. We feel he would be fine if given a little time to unwind and not be thrown into the ring and expected to get along immediately. Please go see him as soon as you can. He's staying in a dark 4 by 4 cell and could use some exercise too. So give them a chance to go smell and sniff if you take them out to see them in the fenced in area. It is a welcome site from being cooped up inside all day. The shelter address: 650 John Howell Memorial Drive in Lincolnton. 704 736 4125. Open 6 days a week; M-Sat 11 to 4:30 and Closed Sunday. Adoption fee of $ 85 includes the spay or neuter , another disease preventative vaccine ,a rabies vaccine, microchip and 30 days of free pet health insurance, as well as worming. It is a great deal! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Copper, a Lincolnton Miniature Pinscher/Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Feist for sale in Lincolnton, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Feist dog from a breeder in Lincolnton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Feist breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolnton paves the way for another one to be saved.
