Bunny's Story...
SWEET & PETIT !!
MEET BUNNY !!

This amazing 10 month old mini Ausie Shepherd mix is the sweetest girl ever !
Shy with people at first. Bunny quickly warms up. She is very quiet, gentle, and sweet.
She is not shy when it comes to other dogs. She lives to play ! She plays with small dogs. All the way up to giant Mastiffs. Male or female. Not a problem.
Bunny has the softest salt & pepper coat. She's a great eater. We give her a premium grain free diet of salmon & sweet potato. She is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, up to date on all vaccines, has her current rabies, is microchipped and spayed.
We are looking for an active home of family that will walk her, run her, has a yard. Preferably another dog. Kid are ok too. But she may take a bit to warm up to them as she is a bit shy.
Young dogs are a lot of work. So please have the time, availability and schedule that allows for housebreaking and training. We have already started crate training him. The adoption fee is $450. Please reply with information about yourself, family, your home, other pets and or children in the house, lifestyle and activity.
Thank you.

Please read everything below, most of your questions may be answered in our description.
All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, dewormed, licensed, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Also included is a free health check by our licensed veterinarian. The dogs that come out of our program are very well socialized when they leave, both with people, and other dogs. It is up to the new owners to maintain this. All of our dogs, young and old are crate trained. This gives the new owner a head start for house breaking, and to curb any separation anxiety and or destructive behavior. Most of our dogs are in foster homes and we are able to tell you lots about each of their personalities. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An adoption fee, application, and contract are required. Please direct all questions to smashfacerescue911@yahoo. All our dogs can be seen 7 days a week by appointment ONLY. We are located in Van Nuys 91405. If you are interested in setting up a day and time please send us an e-mail.

Thank you in advance,

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bunny, a Van Nuys Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Van Nuys, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Van Nuys.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Van Nuys already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Van Nuys breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Van Nuys paves the way for another one to be saved.
