Baker is a sweet and independent boy. Baker got his name because he loves to "make biscuits" or "knead dough", especially while being pet. He also lifts one front paw delicately while sitting sometimes. He loves his rubs, pets and plays, but also needs his alone time - preferably in a closet or under some furniture! Baker doesn't talk much, but he chirps when he wants to play and purrs like an engine when he gets his head rubbed and when he gets brushed! Baker also loves to stretch. Standing up or lying down, he adores getting a good full body extension. A nice tall scratching tree would be a great idea for this guy.

This little guy is really respectful of his human's schedule, getting up and going to sleep at the same time. He grazes his food dishes throughout the day, appearing every now and then for a bite. He is also litter box perfect!

He is generally at his friskiest in the morning and at night, just like any other cat. He especially loves toys that can be dangled from a wand! Baker rolls around and shows his belly when he's happy. He will give you about three belly rubs before he playfully attacks your hand, though he does prefer head rubs. He will tolerate being picked up, but it's definitely not his favourite thing.

Baker will take some time to get adjusted to a new home and he'll prefer to observe his new surroundings from a safe place until he's ready to emerge. Baker is a pretty independent cat, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love attention! You may need to invite him out from his personal space, but he'll come willingly. Baker will make an amazing companion to his forever human.
