Sugar's Story...
The Cookie Litter!

*This litter was rescued from a hoarding situation in St. Clair County - all of the puppies are currently in a foster home - NOT AT OUR FACILITY - so if interested please email SNAPRESCUES@GMAIL.COM to inquire on availability & to begin the adoption process. The puppies we have taken in are mixes, however their potential breed make up will require interested families to research & make sure that this is the type of dog that they are wanting & that will fit in their family/environment. They are Buhund mixes, with possibly Norbettenspetz, Lundehund, & one litter maybe some Border Collie - their true breed mix is unknown but that is what they are believed to be. They are part of the "Spitz" category of dog. We will not be adopting the puppies out to those interested only because they're wanting a puppy - but welcome interested people to apply for the chance to adopt one of these sweet pups.

The adoption donation fee will be raised a bit for these pups we've taken in, because we are going to be using all of the money from their adoption fees to help with the vetting of the other dogs pulled from the home they came from. Their adoption fee is $350, and $50 is refunded back to the adopter, however, once the puppy is spayed/neutered between 4-6 months of age, which is a mandatory requirement.

"Sugar" lives up to her name - she is so sweet! She is is a Mix - believed to be a Norwegian Buhund/Border Collie Mix. She is current on age appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed & Microchipped. She loves to play & frolick around, but can be sweet & wanting of your attention & snuggles. (DOB: 4-18-16)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a China Norwegian Buhund/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Buhund/Border Collie for sale in China, or seeking a Norwegian Buhund/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in China.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in China already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a China breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Buhund/Border Collie breeders who help with Norwegian Buhund/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in China paves the way for another one to be saved.
