Grady's Story...
Everyone meet our southern dingo…Grady! Grady is one of the longest residents at our shelter, and I think I may be to blame. You see Grady is gorgeous, and great with dogs and cats too! So what's holding him back…it's certainly not him so it must be me. Perhaps I haven't emailed enough rescues, maybe not enough exposure online? Surely their is someone out there looking for a beautiful dog that is friendly with other animals…if you're looking for that then Grady is your man! Grady is a 1-2 year old, heart worm positive, carolina dog mix located at the Lee County Animal Shelter in Bishopville, SC 29010. If interested in rescuing, adopting, or fostering Grady thought heart worm treatment please email friendsofleecounty@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grady, a Bishopville Carolina Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog for sale in Bishopville, or seeking a Carolina Dog dog from a breeder in Bishopville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bishopville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bishopville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog breeders who help with Carolina Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bishopville paves the way for another one to be saved.
