Angus's Story...
Angus is a super sweet 10 year old Schipperke who came to ACL as a stray. Angus is both low key and friendly with everyone he meets. He is housebroken, great with other dogs and cats, and absolutely gentle! What else can we say? Angus is just an easy, tolerant, and happy dog who has several good years left to enjoy life! He just had a full dental and medical checkup, and aside from taking his daily vitamins, he's a healthy pooch! Angus just lights up when given attention, and would love to be in a home where he can get a lot of it! Come swoop up this sweet, one of a kind senior today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angus, a Oak Park Schipperke dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schipperke for sale in Oak Park, or seeking a Schipperke dog from a breeder in Oak Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schipperke breeders who help with Schipperke rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
