Gracie B's Story...
This beautiful little tuxedo kitten is Gracie. She is a very sweet, independent young lady who loves to wrestle and play chase with her brothers. She loves to play with her siblings, play alone with her toys, or be pet. She's full of personality and would love to have a forever home of her very own. Gracie is part of a litter of five, and her brothers and sister are also looking for their forever homes. If you are interested in adopting two, please check out Cam, Ace, Jax, and Max.
Gracie is litterbox-trained and eats dry kitten food. She was born in a foster home, is FIV negative, current on vaccinations, spayed, and dewormed. If interested, please contact info@forrescue.net, or you can fill out an application for Gracie at http://forrescue.net/cat-application/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie B, a Homewood Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
