Hi! My name is Willis, and I’m a one year-old mini Schnauzer.
Even though I’m a mini, I’m a bit on the bigger side…maybe 22 lbs or so. I have a lot of puppy energy and would love a family who goes on walks, goes to the dog park or has a big, fenced in backyard. I love to play fetch!
I was surrendered to a shelter a few weeks ago and nobody really knows why. The shelter contacted Schnauzer Rescue who immediately took me in and told me they’d help me find a forever family.
My first family must have taught me some commands because I know “sit” and “shake.” I’m super smart, but still very young, so I could use some additional training to help me learn my manners. I think I would do well in a house as an only dog or with other young, playful dogs.
Also, I think I would love a family with older kids (maybe 10 and above). I haven’t been around little kids, but the rescue doesn’t think I would like them very much. I’ve also never been around cats, so I’m not really sure how I feel about them. I hope you’ll consider adopting me…I would love to be in a forever family by the end of the summer!
My adoption fee is $300.00.
