PUPDATE 7-7-2016: Wilber has been moved to Illinois and is in temporary foster care. He is GREAT with other dogs-- very social and learning how to trust humans. We have started his vetting and he is getting stronger everyday-- but needs to put on about 10lbs. Our vet estimates his age at about 2. He will make such a wonderful loving pet for a very lucky family. Wilber is a Treeing Walker Coonhound (not a beagle) and these dogs make wonderful family pets.

Look at this poor starving dog. Wilber was just saved from being killed in an over-crowded shelter in Arkansas. He was found as a stray with a horrible heavy leather spiked collar. He is so emaciated but is getting proper care now. We are moving him to the Chicago area the 1st week in July and need to line up a foster or foster to adopt home.
