Rusty & Sandy BLIND BONDED PAI's Story...
RUSTY & SANDY are 2 year old BLIND Lab/Shepherd brothers. Their former owner got them as puppies from a friend and had them for a year, but when her mother needed to move in with her, she decided she couldn't care for two dogs and her mother, so they were surrendered to the shelter.

They actually found a home a few months ago and lived with their adopter for a couple months, but they were then returned after she left her closet door open and they chewed a few pieces of clothing.

They are both great with other dogs, cats and kids. They are also crate trained. Because they were born blind, they get around without much difficulty and act like any other dog.

Rusty and Sandy are required to be adopted as a pair, so their total adoption fee is $200 for the pair.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty & Sandy BLIND BONDED PAI, a Struthers Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Struthers, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Struthers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Struthers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Struthers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Struthers paves the way for another one to be saved.
