Shadow is a sweet girl around 2 years old and just goes with the flow. She is a shy, quiet girl but oh so loving. She does well with other dogs, cats and kids. She is quiet and calm and will do well with someone who wants a Netflix buddy!
Shadow came to us from Yuma and needs a family who will show her that people can love and be trustworthy. Please contact us if you are able to provide a home for Shadow!
Shadow's tax-deductible adoption donation is $175 and includes her spay, microchip and vaccinations. All of our adoption donations are tax-deductible and go directly into our dog's medical costs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shadow, a Scottsdale Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
