Ricky's Story...
Little Ricky was abandoned in a parking lot. He was left alone and afraid with the heat beating down on him. What kind of person does this sort of thing. A mere 8.5 pounds of sweet little boy deserted in danger. May God judge those who cause harm to the helpless! Ricky was rescued on the verge of heat stroke by a person with a good heart! Ricky is about 3 yrs old. He is a fawn and brindle chihuahua . He is neutered and heart worm negative. He is very sweet and is good with dogs, cats and kids. He is looking for a lap to hang out on. Ricky is gentle, not a barker, and is full of love in his heart - even after the cruelty he has endured. This charming boy adds joy and life to those he is around. HIs delightful personality adds light and happiness to any room he is in. There is something very special about little Ricky.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ricky, a Plano Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Plano, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Plano.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plano already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plano breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plano paves the way for another one to be saved.
