Rosalie's Story...
Meet Rosalie, who at just 9 pounds, is currently the smallest, and possibly the most playful puppy, in her litter! This precious canine tidbit is super sweet and at just 9 weeks old, she's also ready and waiting to bond with an adoring family!
Of course, like all puppies, this adorable baby girl will need regular exercise, lots of attention, and help learning EVERYTHING about living in a real, forever home.
If you have room in your life for this gentle, little soul, please contact Rosalie's foster mom at martarichards@gmail.com., for more information.

You might also be able to catch Rosalie at our Dog Adoption House at 8476 Highland Rd! The hours are M-F: 11:30-5pm / Sat & Sun: 11-3pm! However, be sure contact Rosalie's foster home first at to make they will be there on that day.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosalie, a Baton Rouge Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
