Joey has been characterized as a young, drop-dead gorgeous purebred Rottweiler with all the charm you could possibly dream about in a single attractive canine. He is neutered, house-trained, up-to-date on his shots. When Joey first came to our rescue he was unsocialized and untrusting of humans. His entire life he had no one othewr then his dad. Then when day his dad went and got married and his new wife and her kids moved into the house ands flipped Joey's world upside down. All of a sudden there was excitement when he was used to calm. His daily routine was different and Joey tried to school the children when they were loud and obnoxious. Well his new mom was having none of that and said Joey had to go. It took Joey a couple of days to warm up to us when he got here, and he seemed a little unpredictable, so we felt it was best to send Joey to live with professional dog trainer from Lorenzo's Dog Training, named Galen. Galen has had him for three weeks now and says that his obedience is rock solid. He has made a lot of progress in his socialization skills and he warms up to people quicker but still not 100% trusting, so she continues working with him every day and expects that he will be one amazing dog around mid July to the end of July. Galen will offer free training classes to his new owner.
