Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kitty K is a gorgeous calico girl with the cutest "cappuccino" look of a muzzle and a round adorable face!!
She came to Four Peaks Animal Rescue after quite the journey.
Kitty K was found in a BIRD CAGE....in a SHOPPING CART during the summer at a side door of a Veterinarian Clinic. Thankfully she was noticed and brought inside before getting overheated....or WORSE!! Whew!! Just in time!!
The Veterinarian clinic kindly cared for her......and got her spayed, tested, and vaccinated. Now Kitty K needed a rescue to help her on her journey of finding a forever home.
4PAR stepped up.
Kitty K had done well "living" in a cage at the clinic for a couple weeks so we knew she was agreeable to being in a cage type setting......her next rescue step was a spot at Petsmart.
We started to notice that Kitty K was unhappy and moody at Petsmart.
A kind volunteer really worked with her. Kitty K was awesome with the volunteer.... "one on one." But, it was soon discovered that Kitty K was just very unhappy seeing or even sensing the other cats at the adoption center.
Seemed Kitty K was saying to us that she had very bad experiences with other cats.....and was fearful to be around them......EVEN the kittens.
Poor Kitty K.....who knows what happened to her BEFORE she was left abandoned in the birdcage and shopping cart!
Because we got to know this awesome cat, we now understand better how to care for HER rescue needs properly! Kitty K would LOVE to be an ONLY kitty......yet, she seems very tolerable with our cat loving dogs.
So, kind calm dogs look to be fine for her.
She is about 1-2 years of age. Medium build and the softest, most cuddly body. She loves to be pet and combed. And is an easy girl to care for and not picky about food.
Kitty K has the sweetest meow.....more of a "chirping" sound than a meow.
Kitty K has been with us for several months now and sure is ready for a loving, calm, patient, reassuring home of her own where she can have "her people" ALL to herself without another kitty around.
Please spread the news about this lovely Calico beauty so we can find the home she so VERY MUCH deserves!!.
