My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BOWIE is an 8 month old neutered black male Lab who weighs 36 pounds. Bowie is a typical, fun playful pup. He is friendly and outgoing and won the hearts of the vet staff right away with his antics. He is good on leash and a great rider. He is super sweet but will need some work on manners as he is a typical youngster. More on this cutie as we move him to foster! He is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!

Update: BOWIE is an adorable, sweet bundle of fun! I had the pleasure of hanging out with him yesterday for a couple of hours and was super impressed with how far he has come with his training with Katie! He can still be a puppy, get wound up and get a little jumpy and mouthy when excited but for the most part, he is calm, easily trained with treats and very eager to please. He is great in his crate and great on leash. He has perfected his sit and down commands - again, he will do ANYTHING for a treat LOL. That's a lab for you! He is great with other dogs and he rides like it is his job!! Such a compact little package of love. Bowie is about 40 lbs and 9 months old. He will need to continue his training to reinforce the good behavior but he has come a long way baby! And could he be any cuter???

Update: Bowie is working hard on learning his manners with Miss Katie. He did not appear to have had any training when he came to us but is learning fast as he is very food/treat motivated. He is very sweet and loves playing with all the other dogs at his foster. He is a bit too interested in Charlie so we are gonna say no cats for this guy. Bowie is looking for an active owner to help him burn some energy and continue his training. He is house trained and is very good in his crate. He would love to have another active dog to play with but would be OK on his own too. Come meet Bowie!

Update: Bowie is an adorable, petite, happy, playful, full of energy guy! He is learning some basic manners at Katie's Lab Lounge in Amelia. He is only 8 mos old so still a puppy! He is good in his crate and easy on leash. Bowie has been on crate rest this week as he has had some "growing pains". The vet gave us a fancy name but said that is what it is. A week of rest and he is right as rain and ready to roll!

Update: Bowie is a fun, energetic, playful boy! Typical for his age, he has lots of energy and wants to play. We are working on his manners and he can be a bit mouthy and jumpy, not unusual for a boy his age! He is good and quiet in his crate. He loves to run and play with the other dogs outside.
