found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Our adoption fee is $225 for puppies under 16 weeks old, including spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, dewormer and microchip. They are up to date now on vaccinations, but they'll need a booster in 3 weeks, and another boosters 3 weeks after that. They can't go in public places where other dogs go until 10 days after their second booster.
We wait until 6 months of age to spay/neuter puppies, because getting them fixed too early can cause more medical problems long term. We we do is called a "provisional adoption" which means you can take the puppy home at 8 weeks, but we don't actually finalize the adoption until they are spayed/neutered later. You can get a free spay/neuter at First Coast No More Homeless Pets, or you're welcome to go to the vet of your choice at your own expense. Once they're spayed/neutered, then we finalize the adoption and everything is official.
If you're interested in an older dog, we have many more to choose from, and the adoption fee for dogs over 16 weeks is $150. The other benefit is that older dogs don't need several months of potty training, and they need families even more than the puppies.
Before you visit the puppies, we ask you to submit an adoption application. which is on our web site at: http://www.floridaurgentrescue.com/adopt Once you fill it out, you can Email it back to to the Email address on the form.
