Foster's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Foster's Story...
FOSTER IS LOCATED IN ARKANSAS AND WILL NOT BE TRANSPORTED TO THE NORTHEAST UNTIL ADOPTED. Foster was born to a Lab mix momma that belongs to some people that just don't have the sense to get her spayed. We are paying to have the momma spayed at least. Foster and his 10 littermates were born April 20th. He looks like he may be mixed with Border Collie. Whatever he is, he is a cutie and very social! He is neutered, up to date on shots, wormed, and started on Heartworm preventative. As of 7-3-16 he weighs about 10 pounds. Foster would be a wonderful companion to any family situation. His adoption fee is $275 and the transport fee is $140. For more info on this sweet boy, please email Sandy at vshutchins@gmail.com and thank u for considering one of my rescue babies!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Foster, a Westport Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Westport, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
