Zuki's Story...
All our rescue dogs are located in VA and NC. No matter what location you find one our listings know it still means the dogs are in NC or VA. We have many delivery locations in tbe North East. We can deliver once the dog is adopted.

Zuki is a mixed Spitz. We are not sure what the exact mix is other than Spitz. She is estimated at being born around 4-15-16. We pulled her from a local pound. She should be a medium size dog around during 35 to 40 pounds when she is grown. She is great with other dogs and good with cats. She loves humans. She has been started on potty training and crate training.

She will go to her new home current on shots, deworming, flea prevention and microchipped. She receive a complete physical and a certificate of health no more than 48 hrs prior to going home.

We require a pre-screen application to apply. You can get that from the main website at www.saveamuttkennel.info.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zuki, a Albany Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Albany, or seeking a Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
