My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey guys, we’re Storm Trooper and BB-8, and we’re so happy to meet you! BB and I are brothers and best friends. We had a very rough start to life. Our mom abandoned us right after we were born. It was very, very cold the night we were born, so cold that when we were found, we were frozen. Luckily, the nice lady who found us revived us and took us to a foster home where we got all the love, medical care, and attention we needed to grow big and strong. Now we’re looking for our very own forever home. We’re very bonded, so we are looking for a family to adopt us both!

I’m a little bigger than my brother, BB, but we’re both small because of our difficult start. I’m the bold one. Open a door and I’m through it – no matter what’s on the other side. Unfortunately, my time outside in the freezing cold took a toll on me; I lost my eyesight. Even though I’m blind, I still love to play, and I don’t let it slow me down. One of my favorite games is soccer. I like playing with my brother and by myself. I prefer toys that make noise because it makes them easier to find and chase. Then there’s my brother, BB. He’s a pretty awesome little guy too. Our foster mom says she named him BB-8 because he has a bent tail – something about a robot and Star Wars.

BB and I make a great pair, and we really love each other, which is why it’s so important that we stay together. Sometimes we run so fast when we play that the only way you can tell us apart is by our tails. My tail is very short and fluffy. We also like to wrestle. I usually win because I’m bigger. But BB is better at soccer, since he can see the ball. We both love people, and we love to cuddle with our foster family, at the same time, on the same lap. I told you we make a great pair!

We’re pretty laid back little guys, so I think we’d do well in pretty much any home. There are big cats in our foster home, and they don’t bother us, so we wouldn’t mind sharing our home with other kitty friends. We’ve never met a dog, but as long as he is laid back like us, I think we’d be just fine. We’ve also met some tiny humans that were very nice, but I think I would do better in a home with older children who can be gentle with me since I can’t see. We’ll provide hours of entertainment and plenty of snuggles, if you provide the food, the toys and a lap or two.
