Sebastian's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Sebastian's Story...

Sebastian is a handsome pale buff (almost white) purebred Cocker Spaniel about 9 years old who came into rescue as a stray. He is a calm and mellow senior who is looking for a quiet home in which to enjoy his retirement years. Spending time with Sebastian is a bit like being touched by an angel. His spirit is very gentle and his energy very calming. Sebastian will make a wonderful companion in an adult only household, perhaps for a retiree or someone who otherwise leads a low key lifestyle. He is a healthy dog who has been neutered, microchipped, is current on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. He will be professionally groomed before adoption and will go home with a new leash and collar. If you would like to adopt or foster Sebastian, please email rescue@nyabandonedangels.com or visit http://www.nyabandonedangels.com/ , where you can complete and return an on-line application. For a little bit of zen, you need look no further than our Sebastian.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a Flushing Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
