Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! I'm Mae West and this is my story. Someone left me in an abandoned house with my puppies and when we were found, we went in a truck to the city shelter so we wouldn't be alone. After my puppies grew bigger and were adopted, there I sat. Waiting for someone to notice me. And a rescue group did! They put me into a boarding facility so I could get all the attention and medical care I needed - I got a wonderful bath, was tested for heartworm - I'm negative!, was spayed, got all of my vaccinations to be healthy and got a microchip. I am still a little shy as I'm not sure yet what is going on, but I am starting to smile and wag my tail because I think that everyone is hoping for a much better life for me than how I started out. And they discovered I like toys! My rescue group is saying I am looking for a forever, loving pet parent. Is that you? If it is, come to meet me today so I can have my happy beginning! I'll bring my green ball!
