Ben's Story...
Ben was brought to a remote cemetery and abandoned there. Unknowing he was abandoned, ben circled around the same place he was left, loyally waiting for his owner to return any minute. He also lingered around the cemetery pathways for weeks to see if his owner would return and even tried to find his way home, but no luck. Ben returned to the exact same spot he was left and patiently waited there. We rescued him because we believe he deserves better than this. We hope to find a genuine, loving home that will cherish him forever.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ben, a San Francisco Plott Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound for sale in San Francisco, or seeking a Plott Hound dog from a breeder in San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound breeders who help with Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
