Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Tessa! I'm an 11 month old, 40 pound, long legged blend of Collie and Cattle Dog. I'm originally from Kentucky. I was picked up as a stray when someone found me picking through their garbage can for food.
I've been in foster care for about a month now and don't understand why no one has chosen me for their lifetime friend. I'm thinking it's because I have some Cattle Dog in me. When people google Cattle Dog, they automatically think I fit that mold. I don't! I'm not a herder and I don't nip at heels! What I am is a fun, sweet and totally social girl. There isn't a dog out there that I won't play with or a human that I don't absolutely love. I'm just happy! I would be a huge hit at a dog park. I think the dogs would be lined up just waiting for me to arrive :) That's how much fun I am.
I love my crate and am very attached to it. I always go in willingly and never cry, whine or fuss when I'm in it. I don't pooh or pee in the house. I love the water...even if it's a doggie pool.
I am so hoping that soon someone will come to meet me and see what a truly special girl I am. I know in my heart there is a person or family that needs me as much as I need them.
