Collin's Story...
Collin, a Terrier mix, was found at Industrial Park, sitting on the porch of one of the businesses as if waiting to go to work; he would not leave. Some nice employees took around the surrounding area hoping to find his family; a neighbor reported that Collin had been sitting on the porch for hours. He is a very sweet dog and wants to cuddle with anyone who gets close to him. He rode very nicely in the car and waited patiently with the car window wide open; he never tried to escape. Collin obviously belonged to someone as he is very well socialized and clean.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Collin, a Somerset Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Somerset, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Somerset.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somerset already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somerset breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somerset paves the way for another one to be saved.
