Meet Mazie! This amazing girl would fit well in just about every home. She is easy going and adores people. In fact, when given the choice between treats and a good belly scratch - she will choose the scratch!! Don't get us wrong, she loves food and treats. She does great training with treats; she knows "Sit", "Shake", "Kennel" and is working on "Down". Mazie is housebroken and crate-trained. She enjoys playing with other dogs but would be content as an only dog if she gets lots of love and attention from her family. She is gentle, calm and enjoys walking on a leash. This sweeet girl was turned into the shelter with a litter of puppies. Her puppies were pulled by rescue and she was left behind. Thankfully her foster mom saw her amazing potential and rescued her just in time before space and Mazie's time ran out at the shelter. Mazie is about 2 years old, approximately 55 lbs, spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm and flea prevention. She is being fostered in north Alabama, but is available for adoption to your area.
