Dusty's Info...

I am in need of an experienced adopter, rideable, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Dusty's Story...
Hi, I'm Dusty. I'm about 15 hands. I'm about 5 years old. I can be ridden, and do great with other horses. I'm not a bossy mare, but I have spirit. I am sound and have no issues doing what ever you ask. I load into a trailer just fine. I just want to go away from the lights. I'm looking for an intermediate to experienced rider, someone who can help me understand that car lights aren't going to get me. I just finished 60 days of training and I'm doing great!

My adoption donation is only $2500

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dusty, a Ogden Appaloosa/Quarterhorse was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Appaloosa/Quarterhorse for sale in Ogden, or seeking a Appaloosa/Quarterhorse from a breeder in Ogden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ogden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ogden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Appaloosa/Quarterhorse breeders who help with Appaloosa/Quarterhorse rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ogden paves the way for another one to be saved.
