Willie is a rock star in disguise...he might act like a washed-up old country music man when you first meet him...with his soulful eyes, his quiet demeanor and complete tolerance of every stray cat or dog that crosses his path...but tell him to fetch his favorite flying monkey toy and he'll show you how rowdy he can get!

He's always up for making new friends, especially the younger crowd, he spends every morning walking the family he's staying with to school, and the 10-minute walk takes an hour because Willie needs to get petted by every one of his little friends!

Willie was found wandering with his beagle buddy Waylon and was taken in by the Houston Beagle and Hound Rescue, Inc. Willie was diagnosed with having Heartworms, but has completed his treatment and recovered like the rock star he is! Now that Willie's wandering days are over, this four-year-old guy is looking for his forever home. He is 14 inches tall and a slender 26 pounds. Willie is house, crate and dog door trained. Willie is a loyal boy who is the real deal! This great guy will make a wonderful addition to your family!!
